I Don't Know

This song was written after having failed many times with life, relationships, music, etc.
I knew that I was in another temporary relationship, that this would have to be chalked up as another failure too, but I was trying to pretend like it wasn't. The agony that I felt in my soul , and the knowledge that I was going to fail again made me feel so weak at that point that I chuckled to myself about how untrue the saying "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" was in my life, and I sat down and wrote this song.

Lyrics

Yes I'm alive
but I don't know for how much longer
some people say
what doesn't kill you makes you stronger
but I don't know

'cause my dreams
they won't come true
and it seems that now
neither will you
neither will you

I'm dying here
trying to pretend I'll be alright
but I don't know
My fears
keep growing stronger every night
in my soul

and my dreams
they won't come true
and it seems that now
neither will you
neither will you

well I know it's all my fault
that I'll never see your face
'cause I can't seem to keep my feet
standing still in one place

and my dreams
won't come true
and it seems that now
neither will you
neither will you

some people say
what doesn't kill you makes you stronger
but I don't know
